Start at the beginning, with beginners.

The 10-week Intro to Yoga Beginners Course is our comprehensive introduction to the foundations of Hatha Yoga – the root of most yoga styles practiced in the west. Designed specifically for complete yoga beginners, this step-by-step course will slowly introduce basic yoga postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), mindfulness practices and deep relaxation exercises.

As your experience and confidence grows (sufficient to attend drop-in classes) you will also learn how simple yoga techniques can be integrated into your daily life to improve your sleep, relieve aches and pains, lower your stress levels and quieten your busy mind.

Open to all ages and ability levels. Perfect for complete yoga beginners or yoga students with less than a year’s yoga practice.

Yoga Equipment

We provide yoga mat and props. Yoga mats are available to buy from the Yoga Centre. Owning your own yoga mat will help you build confidence and make progress in between classes at the studio and after the course has finished.

Any other yoga props required during class (eg straps, blocks, blankets or bolsters) will be provided by the studio.

For a price of £20, You can collect your Yoga mat from the Centre when you arrive for your first class of your 8-week beginners course. Choice of colour will be limited to the availability of stock at the time of the course.
